THINK TANK: SPOOKY SCIENCE NIGHT
When: Saturday 28 October from 6pm to 9pm
Where: Millennium Point, Curzon Street, Birmingham B4 7XG
The museum will turn into a spooky party for all mad scientists, witches and wizards to come together and have some fun.
See the spectacular ‘Science of Fright’ show, where making a monster is all a matter of choosing the right ingredients.
Meet some real life creepy crawlies, make your own family light photos and create your own sample of blood to take home. Plus lots more tricks and treats to take part in on this magical night out.
Come in fancy dress to be entered into a fantastic prize draw on the night!
Tickets cost £9 per child and £6.50 for adults. Pre-booking essential.
BLACK COUNTRY LIVING MUSEUM: HALLOWEEN NIGHTS
When: 25th to 28th October
Where: Black Country Living Museum, Tipton Road, Dudley, DY1 4SQ
Prepare for a spooktacular evening of street performers, fire-jugglers, magicians, tricks and treats. See street entertainers bring Halloween to life as you explore an eerie atmosphere of Halloween fun!
Brave the bugs and get 'hands on' with a creepy crawlie display, meet magnificent birds of prey and descend into the depths of their spooky mine and hear spine-tingling Halloween tales by candlelight.
Bring the whole family along including the kids for a sweet surprise as you 'Trick or Treat' around the Museum’s houses and shops.
Enter to be in with a chance to win the best dressed grown up ghoul or little horror in the Halloween costume parade.
Pre-booked tickets cost around £16 for adults and £9 for kids and are selling out fast.
BIRMINGHAM MUSEUM & ART GALLERY: MONSTER PARTY
When: Wednesday 25 October from 2pm to 4pm
Where: Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery Waterhall, Chamberlain Square, Birmingham B3 3DH
Bring your little mummies, witches and vampires along to enjoy a free spooktacular ‘Monsters at the Museum’ party. There will be lots of spooky fun throughout the day with music for dead good dancers, ghoulish games and the chance to capture your costume in the portrait booth of fear.
Free entry - portrait studio prints £1 each.
MARTINEAU GARDENS: HALLOWEEN STORY NIGHT
When: Tuesday 31 October, from 6pm to 9pm
Tickets: £5 Adults, Children £2
Tonight is the night when witches ride.
Take a ghost walk around the Gardens as darkness falls. Stand in the shadows, the woods or beside the flickering fire and listen to tales of ghosts, spirits and fairy-folk. A rare opportunity to enjoy Martineau Gardens at night, in the company of storytellers from the Trad Arts Team.
Hot soup and light refreshments available or bring your own.
